Debra Care Conference is the largest gathering event of EB patients in the United States and has been held every two years. There were 750 attendees, including 50 experts and 13 research partners in EB field who are sharing the latest progress in EB care and drug development.
Dr. Annie Pai, Deputy Director of Clinical Research, and Michael Chan, Senior Consultant, and colleagues represented TWi Biotechnology to participate in this event. During the meeting, we communicated with the Principal Investigators of the EBShield study in US and consulted key opinion leaders about the US current situation of EBS care.
We also set up a booth at this event to share TWi Biotechnology’s EBShield study information with EB families and to get to know the patient’s need. TWi Biotechnology has always been committed to the research and support of EB, and continues to provide care and assistance to patients with rare diseases through corporate social responsibility.
