TAIPEI, September 23, 2026 — TWi Biotechnology, Inc.; (stock code: 6610 TWO) was recently invited by Jefferies to participate in the 2026 Jefferies APAC Healthcare Conference in Shanghai, where the Company presented the latest clinical progress and future outlook for its lead drug candidate, AC-203, and engaged in in-depth discussions with global pharmaceutical companies, institutional investors, and industry leaders.

Jefferies is a globally recognized investment banking and capital markets firm headquartered in New York City, with offices around the world and an extensive network of professionals and clients. The firm has a strong presence in the healthcare sector and has advised on numerous major public offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and pharmaceutical licensing transactions.

TWi Biotechnology was represented at the conference by Dr. Chen-En Tsai, President and Chief Medical Officer; Shao-Ming Lee, Vice President of Technical Affairs; and Dr. Michelle Chen, Head of Business Development. In addition to presenting the clinical progress of AC-203, the team held a series of one-on-one meetings with international pharmaceutical companies and institutional investors.

Dr. Chen-En Tsai, President of TWi Biotechnology, stated: “Drug development is a long journey, and TWi Biotechnology has been advancing AC-203 for more than a decade. We are now approaching the final stretch. At this critical stage, with the global Phase 2/3 study nearing its topline readout, we were honored to participate in the 2026 Jefferies APAC Healthcare Conference. Through a series of one-on-one meetings, several large multinational pharmaceutical companies expressed interest in AC-203, indicating that our pool of potential licensing partners has expanded beyond niche specialty pharmaceutical companies focused on rare dermatologic diseases to include broader, diversified pharmaceutical groups. We will continue to engage closely with all potential partners and work toward completing a global licensing transaction for AC-203 as soon as possible following the topline readout.”

AC-203 is a topical dermatologic drug containing diacerein as its active ingredient and was independently developed by TWi Biotechnology. The global Phase 2/3 clinical trial of AC-203 for Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex (EBS) is being conducted across 19 countries and 37 clinical sites. Enrollment of all 81 patients was completed in April 2026, and the study is expected to report topline results in the fourth quarter of this year.

EBS is a rare genetic skin disorder caused by gene mutations, and there are currently no approved disease-specific therapies for the condition. If the ongoing development program is successful, AC-203 has the potential to become the first approved treatment specifically for EBS.

TWi Biotechnology is continuing licensing discussions with multiple international pharmaceutical companies, with the goal of working with commercial partners to accelerate global regulatory approval and commercialization of AC-203 and bring an innovative, safe, and effective treatment option to EBS patients worldwide.
