The Company issued 18,000,000 common shares at NTD$25 per share, raising a total of NTD$450 million. The proceeds have been fully received and will be used to strengthen working capital and advance the Company’s drug development programs.

The successful completion of the capital increase comes as TWi Biotechnology's lead drug candidate, AC-203, enters the final stage ahead of a key clinical milestone. AC-203 Enters Final Stage of Clinical Development, with Primary Efficacy Assessments Completed for All 81 Patients

TWi Biotechnology's lead product candidate, AC-203, is currently being developed for the treatment of Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex (EBS). The global Phase 2/3 pivotal EBShield Study has completed enrollment of 81 patients, and all patients have completed assessments for the primary efficacy endpoint. The study has now entered its final stage, with topline results expected to be announced in the fourth quarter of 2026.

For TWi Biotechnology, the full receipt of proceeds from the capital increase not only further strengthens the Company's operating resources, but also provides solid financial support for the continued clinical development of AC-203, global regulatory submissions, and preparations for future commercialization.

Advancing Global Business Partnerships Alongside Clinical Development

In addition to advancing the clinical and regulatory development of AC-203, TWi Biotechnology is actively expanding global business development and licensing opportunities. In line with the development progress and market needs of its product portfolio, the Company will continue to pursue a range of commercial strategies, including global licensing, regional partnerships, and strategic alliances, with the aim of maximizing product value and strengthening its international market presence.

Jessica Wu, Chairman of TWi Biotechnology, said: “New drug development requires long-term commitment and perseverance. The successful completion of this capital increase not only strengthens our operating resources, but also provides TWi Biotechnology with a more solid financial foundation as we approach important clinical and regulatory milestones for AC-203. We will remain focused on enhancing the value of our R&D programs and creating long-term value for our shareholders, while continuing to advance innovative drug candidates with global market potential.”

TWi Biotechnology remains focused on innovative drug development. In addition to AC-203, the Company's pipeline includes NORA520 and AC-1101, with development programs spanning rare diseases, inflammatory skin diseases, and central nervous system disorders.
